         <description><![CDATA[<div>When first becoming an athletic trainer you would either start as an assistant if working for a higher risk team or if at a lower risk team then you would start as a certified athletic trainer. The average annual income for this is from $35,000 to $40,000. The next level is also a certified athletic trainer but you do not work as an assistant anymore. The average annual income for this position is between $40,000 to $50,000. Lastly, a head athletic trainer is the highest you can be and on average a head athletic trainer could make $50,000 or more.</div>]]></description>
