Within our “Different Steps on the Same Path” project, we organize various activities on important awareness days such as Disability Week, Forest Week and Energy Week.

These activities help our students develop responsibility, empathy and environmental awareness. During Energy Week, our students studied saving electricity, water and natural resources, explored renewable energy sources, and learned about the contributions of important scientists.

Through these meaningful days, we aim to raise conscious, sensitive and future-oriented individuals.

They talked about the forest, environmental issues, and the animals that live there.

Through this experience, they learned the importance of protecting nature.

"Recycling combined with frugality generates savings."

What we built:

• The Bottle Collector: A massive bin made entirely out of recycled plastic bottles!

• Colorful Sorting Bins: Custom-made boxes for paper, plastic, and metal to make recycling easy and organized.

• The Recycling Monster: A friendly blue box that "eats" paper waste, making cleaning up fun for everyone.

Our Goal: To reduce, reuse, and recycle every single day. Great job to our young eco-warriors! ♻️✨

Our scents and colors may be different, but we grow with love.

The “Bouquet of Love” created by my students in art class shows that even though we are all different, we are equal.

Same garden, same bouquet… filled with love and the beautiful fragrance of flowers. 🌸💐

We explored the trees in our school and learned about their characteristics. We used bark observation cards to closely examine and understand them.

We also designed a wonderful activity by placing nature’s flowers into vases made from recycled paper.

Learning in nature is always meaningful—and when we build the right connection with it, it becomes truly powerful and educational. 🌿🌼

With the awareness of building a sustainable future, we focused on frugality and saving. In this context, we designed a water filtration material.

We placed stones, soil, and leaves collected from nature into recycled plastic containers and observed how dirty water can turn into clean water. In this way, we experienced the importance of recycling and reusing materials.

This activity attracted great interest from the children. By transforming both water and natural materials, we had a different, fun, and highly educational learning experience. 🌿💧

Being frugal means using things carefully and not wasting them. It also means thinking before we use or buy something.

We can help by saving:

• 💡 electricity (turn off lights when we leave a room)

• 💧 water (don’t leave the tap running)

• 📄 paper (use both sides of a sheet)

• 🍎 food (take only what we can eat)

We can also reuse things instead of throwing them away. For example, we can reuse bottles, boxes, or old materials for crafts.

Every small action matters. When all of us try our best, we help make the Earth a better place for everyone. 🌍

This collaboration helps students develop empathy, teamwork, and a sense of global citizenship. Together, we celebrate not only Children’s Day but also the power of unity and shared learning.Happy Children’s Day to all children of the world! 💙
