In many restaurants serve a special menu that day, and also some supermarkets and delis sell the traditional menu and cooked. You can order and pick it up a few days before the morning of Thanksgiving.

    • Although different. It is considered that the first day Canadian Thanksgiving was in1578, as part of a ritual of thanks from Frobisher God for the good fortune of his travelsin Arctic areas.

    • No ate turkey on Thanksgiving dinner original Thanks
    Many historians agree that no turkey was served at that first celebration. What available on the menu ranged from deer and duck to fish, there was no pumpkin pie and cranberry sauce.

    In 1939 President Roosevelt proclaimed that Thanksgiving would be held the third Thursday of November rather than the last. This was done to extend the Christmas shopping season in full time of economic crisis. Anyway, none of this had a positive response and the celebration returned to its original date two years later.
