Student-Centered

To be truly effective, a principal must create a system of core values that the entire staff shares. To do this, she needs to involve the teachers and staff. A common theme to each of the core values should be a student-centered view of education. When a decision is made in the school, the first thought should always be: "What's best for the students?" When everyone shares this belief, infighting will lessen and the school can focus on the business of teaching.

Parental Involvement

Many middle and high schools do not stress parental involvement; they should. It is the school's job to pull parents in and help them understand what they can do. The more a school involves parents, the better the students will behave and perform. Many parents want to know what's going on in class but have no way of figuring out how to do this. A school that stresses parental contact for both positive and negative reasons will grow more effective over time. Thankfully, this is something that each teacher can institute even if the school as a whole does not stress such involvement.

School is the educational institution so it should be able to provide a intellectual, moral and social instructions. If these are taught in the school, the students themselves can be literate because they can understand the world. In the other hand, the childrens and students are the good imitators so they should be taught the things to be done good and in perfect way, rather not by threatning them. Many case of child mental disease due to threats are being known. so, in my sense the children should not be threatned, sometime a bit, if mistaken is done. Talking about the teachers:they should be practical and should be the example of good things before telling the students. For eg, if the teacher smokes and tells the students not to smoke that sounds totally unsuit. At last, the perfect school should be the one where the students can find the freedom and explore their capacity.

What constitutes a good school varies with the type of school under consideration. For example, vocational schools providing career and skill building training, higher learning institutes such as colleges and universities, high secondary schools, kindergarten schools, primary schools, IT institutes etc. Each of these share certain basic features but differ in their specialization. It is a combination of both these factors that makes up a “good school”. In essence, all educational institutes share these common features. The quality and availability of these features differentiate a good school from a not so good school. I.	Curriculum – Curriculum is one of the most important of all the criteria’s in determining a good school. Schools that offer new curriculum relevant to the changing global environment have a definite advantage over schools offering only traditional courses. Even within these traditional courses, content and materials of the subject matter are enhanced, improved upon and new knowledge are made available. Schools should make an active effort to incorporate such updated information within their curriculum. II.	Staff - The training and knowledgebase of the staff is a significant factor in distinguishing good schools from poor ones. Despite a clear general consensus that staff training is a critical factor in ensuring a successful school, many institutes fail to emphasize and commit to staff training resulting in poor quality education. III.	Infrastructure – in many developing countries, government run schools suffer from inadequate infrastructure ie. lack of proper classrooms to conduct classes in, insufficient desks and chairs, lack of books and supplies (stationeries), lack of computer facilities and science/lab equipments, of libraries and sporting complex etc. unless adequate educational infrastructure exists, imparting quality education remains a challenge.cont'd below due to text limitations...

IV.	Environment – providing the right environment for learning is critical. Creating an atmosphere of learning and knowledge, of discipline and structure, of creativity and inspiration, of teamwork and organization is a must for all institutions. Future Outlook As the global environment changes, so does the need to innovate and adapt to these changes. Currently, there are two main trends in the global arena:1. Globalization and internationalizationGlobalization is a force that is shaping the social, cultural, economical and political environment across the world. Assessing the impact and influence and successfully being able to adapt and make use of these forces is one of the key factors that will distinguish good schools from poor ones. 2. Role of IT and the internetToday information is easily and readily available to all – provided they have access to computers and internet. Information technology has overcome the traditional shortcoming of physical boundaries, of printed books, of in-class teachers and more. The impact of information technology and the internet is humungous. Good schools should utilize and benefit from these opportunities.

1. A great school offers a clean and well-organised environment that is conducive to learning.

One excellent way to support better learning in school is to provide the students with a clean and well-organised environment where they can develop their skills and increase their knowledge. A clean and comfortable school setting helps enhance the teaching and learning experience. So saying, a school administrator must rely on a professional cleaning service to maintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the school premises. To find professional cleaning services in Australia that offer exclusive school cleaning contracts or provide specialised cleaning services, we at EISAU can help you. Our lists of cleaning contractors are qualified and experienced school cleaners and maintenance staff that have undergone extensive screening and comprehensive training process.

2. A good school must have supportive teachers and administrators.

Teachers are students’ role models. They have a strong influence in shaping a student’s attitude and personality, so it is necessary that they possess admirable qualities which cultivate the students’ talents and abilities. Good teachers are approachable and willing to mentor their students in achieving academic excellence and attaining their personal goals. Likewise, school administrators must be professional and supportive to the needs of the academic staff. Good teachers empower the faculty by creating instructional techniques which nurture their skills and broaden their expertise to become more effective teachers.

3. An effective school must have reliable support staff and efficient service providers.

Good schools have excellent support staff (e.g., nurse, doctor, guidance counsellor and psychologist) who are geared to help meet the needs of all the students. Additionally, the school connects with the best suppliers or service providers who deliver quality products (e.g., school playground equipment, school supplies, art supplies and library supplies) and efficient services that meet the needs of the school community.

4. An exceptional school works to build a safe learning environment for students.

An effective school is a place where students feel safe, physically and emotionally. It is a supportive community where the teachers and students collaborate and focus on achieving better learning. Hence, it is free of negative behaviours, like bullying and harassment. Instead of serving punishment as a means to discipline the students, the school might focus on preventing student misbehaviours by implementing disciplinary actions that are safe for the student and helpful to the community, such as letting the students do social work or community service for a certain period of time.

5. An outstanding school provides state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to help improve student learning.

Giving students access to powerful educational tools and facilities, such as computers, laboratories and libraries deepens their knowledge and further improves their logical and cognitive skills. Additionally, the school offers students (including those who love the performing arts) with opportunities to enrich their educational experience and nurture their talents such as going on school performance tours. At EISAU, you will find companies experienced in school performance tours that can provide students with access to the best musical and theatrical shows.
