This is why our music video hardly has any shots of boys in it, to keep the focus on the main artist and use her femininity as an advantage. This was to keep the momentum upbeat to fit the mood and theme of the song, which was dance which is usually fitted with funky, colourful visuals. This is like majority of dance videos which can include lots of abstract imagery and bright colours, this type of 'feel good' energy is to pass on to the audience and make the video more memorable, acting like a hypodermic needle by causing influence. This convention is shown clearly in Justin Biebers 'Sorry' music video, where the artist isn't presented in it himself but replaced with a group of girls. This was to have a vibrant effect on the locations we picked to make it look more dramatic, and wanted to do something extra which made our artist more eccentric to others. The shot of Yase in her bedroom came from the original 'You dont know me' by Jax Jones where the whole video is set indoors passing through different rooms.
