Especially for those living alone at home and without close relatives, daily life can present numerous challenges. With this in mind, I aim to develop an application to meet the needs of the elderly. This application will facilitate volunteers in helping the elderly, thereby enhancing their quality of life.

Basic Structure of the Application

The application will be a platform where anyone aged 21 and above can participate voluntarily. Individuals wishing to join must meet certain criteria. These criteria will be carefully established to ensure the safety of users and to effectively address the needs of the elderly. The application will aim to fulfill the basic needs of elderly users according to their requests. These needs will include grocery shopping, meal provision, house cleaning, obtaining prescribed medications from the pharmacy, social activities (walking, chatting, coffee, tea), and brain exercises.

Operation of the Application

The application will feature a user-friendly interface. Volunteers will select which services they can provide on a given day and specify a time range. Elderly individuals will similarly determine the services they require and the time frames they need them. The application will connect these two parties, ensuring a suitable match. Through this matching process, elderly individuals will be able to receive the services they need through reliable volunteers.
