But what made this journey special were the warmhearted people that I met. The locals were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making me feel like a part of their community

The food was a delightful surprise, with hearty dishes like the saltibasciai, that I couldn't get enough of. I also loved that one of their key ingredients was potatoes.

My stay was made even more memorable by the warm and hospitable family that accommodated me, sharing their traditions and culture, making me feel like a part of their family.

One place that I particularly enjoyed was the Ruta Chocolate Museum, where I indulged in the art of chocolate making and tasted exquisite chocolates.

The combination of these factors made my time in Siauliai truly amazing, leaving me with cherished memories and a deep appreciation of this charming Lithuanian city, and I

really hope I get the chance to re-visit it in the future.

We visited the most beautiful sights of this country even those that were far away

from the area, where we spent the night and of course they enchanted us with their beauty.

But apart from the new people and the beautiful artificial and natural landscapes we also got to know a different way of life, a different educational system as well as a different way of perceiving things. Everything was so nice there and that made our way back long and difficult.

I also met a lot of new people there with whom I became friends. We visited a lot of places there but the one that made the difference for me was the hill of crosses because of all the countless crosses that was there.

Overall, I really liked this experience and I would like in the future to travel again there.

I have to say that the locals were very friendly and I loved the family I stayed with because they were so hospitable and kind with me. I would also like to add that I was really amazed by the beautiful landscapes and the pretty houses that I saw in some graphic villages.

Finally, the climate was a refreshing

change from the hot weather in Greece and the food was something different from what I am used to, so I am really glad

that I tried it.

The Lithuania cuisine left a lasting impression with its unique flavors, featuring hearty exploring the sights of Siauliai was a delight, particularly the iconic Hill of Crosses, where the landscape is adorned with thousands of crosses, reflecting the rich religious and historical significance of the region.

The blend of welcoming locals, flavorful cuisine and captivating landmarks made my Erasmus experience in Siauliai truly memorable.
