Assistive technology is used to help improve the learning experience of children with disabilities. First, there is screen reading software. This is used to read aloud for children with visual impairments. Another example is a wheelchair or a walking frame to help the child get around. Hearing aids or visual search engines are best used for children with a hearing disability. You can purchase these things if they are an everyday need, or many assistive technology's can be provided by the school. The read aloud software and braille type writer are a few examples.
