She decided to work in an unrelated field, then join the Accelerated Child and Youth Care program at Humber College. An SPSW's obligation is to assist kids throughout high school with whatever issues they may have, whether academic, social, or emotional in nature. SPSW provide kids with full support by cooperating with their parents/guardians and school staff to ensure they are supported in all parts of their lives.

• Track student's monthly attendance, grades, credits
• SPSWs and students are required to keep in touch frequently to discuss how their day went, how school is going, or anything in general
• Have running workshops for staff and students to have movie and game nights or having open conversations.

After she graduated from High school, she went to Youk university at to do her undergrad in Sociology and got her BA. This pilot project falls under the Youth and Family Services Team which is under the Health Promotion Team at Rexdale Community Health Center. This pilot draws on lived experiences of affected communities, such as trauma, anti-black racism and violence.
