Verbally Questioning Customers

i think verbally questioning is really important because, when a customer is not sure about purchasing a product they will come and speak to them to find out their expectation on what to buy. Most retail businesses use verbal questioning throughout their day to figure out the customer needs which is very important within a business. for example The Palace a pizza restaurant, which is located in Brighton pier where people frequently visit. and inside the restaurant they have a whole load of variety dishes and foods. a waiter at the restaurant can use verbal questioning to find out what they like and what they don't like. questions like "do you have any questions about the menu?", "Are you Ready to order"?, "are there any dishes you prefer"?. The waiters can also recommend dishes to the customers.

social media listening customers

i think social media listening is used in small or large even popular businesses. people within the business when they post something about a new product, they can monitor it and see people comments about the products which can be negative or positive. by looking at the reviews and feedback about the product the business can find ways to make things better. for example, posting a picture of the rides within the Brighton pier.

survey

i think survey is used to find out the customers opinions of the products and service and using their feedback businesses can use that to find out what to improve to get more customers and also it can be uses for future reference. by using the feedback from customers can help with the product improvement and also it helps to find out if customers are satisfied or not. for example the palm court restaurant inside the Brighton pier they can put a put up a poster with a QR code and customer can scan the QR code and they can fill the survey and express their opinions about the restaurant.

Impact on the organisation:

The impact of meeting customers needs for an organisation is that the business if customer like one of the products that is sold in the business, they will frequently visit the business which leads to repeat business. also the customers are most likely to post positive reviews of the business which will impact on the business brand and reputation. also if the customers are very satisfied with the business they will recommend the business to their family members and friend which leads to increase the businesses reputation in a way that makes it more popular.

one of the negatives could be that if a product and service haven't met the customer expectation that can lead to disappointed customers. also negative reviews of products or services can spread from person to person and that will have a massive damage to the business brand. an example would be that the palace pizza in the Brighton pier so, if a customer was made to wait a long time for their food that will lead to the not coming back to the business and that is lost of trust from the customer.

remembering customer names and chatting with the regular customers it helps to build a positive relation between them and that makes the customer valued. also by remembering their name creates a massive impact so for example at the flour plot bakery at the Brighton pier, so if a customer orders the same item every time they visit a restaurant the person that takes their order will be like " same items right" so its like they know that what they order that gives then customer a great experience and also it builds trust within the customers also it encourages loyalty making the customer loyal and by making the customer satisfied can lead to getting more customer to visit the business.

it is crucial to make sure that the customer receives what they came to get by making sure the customer gets what they came to buy that will lead to meeting customer expectation and also it will build trust. for example the "lucky beach cafe" in the Brighton pier

using loyalty card system within a business it will can lead to repeat business so customer will come back to the business if they are satisfied and gained a good experience. it can also refer other people to the business. also another benefit it is that you will receive emails from the businesses if they for example they launch a new product or if they is any reduction in the prices like offers.
