The Nile river is where Moses' journey begins. He was born to an Israelite family while in Egypt. Rather than kill him, his family sent him away on the Nile river. The pharaoh´s daughter found a basket with a baby in the Nile while she was bathing and took pity upon it and rescued him. She knew he was the son of a Hebrew servant but she did not care, once he became of age she named him Moses. Moses grew up in the Pharaoh´s kingdom as the son of the Pharaoh´s daughter.

After the final plague, the Israelites are final free and Moses is leading them to God. Pharaoh, however, is still not accepting his defeat. He follows the Israelites and Moses with his Egyptian Army. Once Pharaoh and the Egyptians approached the Israelites they became scared and called for the lord´s help. The Israelites question the leadership of Moses in times of need. God, then gave directions to Moses to save them from the Egyptians. He told him to use his staff to part the sea and they shall be saved from Pharaoh and his Egyptian army. The power of Moses with Gods guidance was established from this point forward. This cause the nation of Israel to finally believe in God and Moses.

Moses and the Israelites arrived at their destination on the third month of their journey. They all camped out in front of Mount Sinai and waited for the lord to appear. While wating, God calls Moses to meet with him atop the mountain. God wants Moses to act as his messenger and tell the Israelites he saw what he did to the Egyptians in order to free them. When the Israelites were ready to meet with God he appeared to them as a thick cloud. God established the rules at the mountain which were expressed through Moses. Then God spoke the ten commandments to them.

After a few days of being led by Moses in the wilderness, they began asking for water and expressing their thirst. The Israelites argued with Aaron and Moses and even said they were better off when they were slaves under the Pharaoh. God then said to Moses that he would make it rain bread (mana) . Moses delivered the message the the Israelites and told them the lord would prove to them his glory why he rescued them from Pharaoh. Later, when God provided meat (quail) for them, they didn't follow Moses instructions to not leave any leftovers and he was angry with them.
