In February, the police said that the killing of a woman in a massage parlor in Toronto was an act of terrorism committed by an involuntary celibate, or incel, a male in his teens. The woman, Ashley Noell Arzaga, was killed in the parlor while two other women were injured in the incident. Police charged the 17-year-old with first-degree murder and attempted murder. The teen's identity was protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
