Children aren't the best with their emotions in the first place, so to add something as confusing as Schizophrenia in the mix, it can be tough. It is common for children to have imaginary friends, but when they start influencing the way the child acts of thinks, or causes harm to them, It can get very concerning. I also sympathise with the parents because this is a hard thing to notice because children doing odd things like talking to themselves, is pretty normal. And to hear that your child is suffering, I can only imagine.
