<title>How often do our students view their own progress? Would it make a difference for the students to take part in their creating their data and understanding it. As a teacher, how could I do realistically? </title>

<title>My students&#39; scores are shown through the Whole to Part Assessment, BRIGANCE, and EOG Scores. These scores factor into the placement of the groups to target the certain instructional area of needs of the students. </title>

<title>I think it is important to know how our students view their own scores. There needs to be a conversation behind the scores that help provide them feedback beyond just the number score. It needs to be relevant to help them know where they currently are and working toward. These scores and numbers travel with them throughout their school experience.</title>

<title>Students are taught reading that are below grade level. The Whole to Part or informal assessments help guide teachers in grouping students to target their remedial needs. My Bulldog Academy reading group is mostly focused on word identification, vocabulary, and silent reading comprehension. </title>

<title>My Bulldog Academy tiered instruction will build on each of the areas during each week. There will be stations within the group time. First, we will start with individual word sorts.&amp;nbsp; Then I will be pairing students based off high and low readers to partner read and practice fluency. Also, there will be individual reading comprehension check quizzes.</title>

<title>For my Bulldog Academy group, I want my students to be able to track and understand their own progress. My plan is for my students to keep an individual folder with their work. My hope is for students to have a work portfolio and update a progress graph for them to be able to monitor their own progress too.</title>

<title>Changing the idea of data would help our students reflect on their progress. They have an impact and understand that their progress matters. My desire is to help my students not just become another number lost in the data. The individual comes into focus through these changes.</title>
