On June 13, 2025, CHEDRO III held a capacity-building session on strategic communication engagement at the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) Hostel in Bacolor, Pampanga, with Mr. Jay-vee Marasigan Pangan as the resource speaker.

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III is conducting Capacity-Building Series of 2025.

The event was held at DHVSU Hostel and fascilitated by Mr. Jay-Vee M. Pangan.

One of the highlight of the event is the Different Strategies to avoid communication breakdown in the organization.

During the said training, the CHEDRO-III staff actively engaged in the activities by sharing ideas, experiences and insights.

One of the highlights of the session conducted by Mr. Jay-vee Marasigan Pangan is the activity on professionalize phrases in the workplace.

This is the first of the series of three capacity building activities. Upcoming topics are: Orientation on SPMS and Making CSW (Complete Staff Work) work for you.

The activity aims at improving the services being delivered by CHED not only its external clients but also internal clients by way of an improved delivery of messages that are clearly understandable and with courtesy to each other.

Stemming from the Commission’s mandate of excellence in service of the people, the CHED Regional Office III (CHEDRO III) conducts a workshop titled “Words that Work: Strategic Communication and Engagement in the Digital Era”, at the University Hostel of Don Honorio Ventura State University, Bacolor, Pampanga.

Mr. Jay-vee Marasigan Pangan, Multimedia Journalist, shares his expertise on effective internal and external communications skills. The event is attended by all CHEDRO III personnel and staff to ensure collective growth and alignment with the Office’s goals.

The topics presented aligned to the theme were: the Elements of Communication, Barriers of Effective Communication, and the Strategies to Avoid Communication Breakdown. The lectures were likewise spiced up with illustrative examples through group dynamics.

A training on how to Communicate well happened at DHVSU Bacolor Hostel, June 13, 2025. Lead by Mr. Pangan. Attended by CHEDRO 3 staff together with their interns. Entitled "WORDS THAT WORKS, STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION ENHANCEMENT IN THE DIGITAL."

The training tackled about how people should pause for a while, because bo matter how far you get, you will still be needed seminars and trainings to learn and strive more as a person.

"Communication is a way of life", emphasized by Mr. Pangan. It is not just simple thing that that may pass by everyone, it will put great impact to someone's life especially when you ensure your communication will be precise but at the same time considerate.

Ched Regional office conducted a seminar that entitled "strategies to avoid communication breakdown" It helps us to turn the excuses into the words that can pleases. Working for government can be crucial in terms of communication because it requires you to face every clients. They may misunderstood you for your words so the seminar helps us to make other options in comes to expressing your frustrations.

This training put so much lessons learned by the attendees since as a worker or employee or student, they must know how to communicate right because they will be facing other people with different personalities so, you must know how to deal with it professional.

With Mr. Jay-vee Pangan as the invited resource speaker, This said seminar teaches the personnel and officials on the values and how to communicate effectively in the

working environment.
