They linked communications with the health district early on. They were there when the Health District announced the first case of COVID. They also worked closely with the communications office. 
They have 2 city council members on the board of health that were engaged in the beginning. 
The partnered with Clark County to help with isolation (ISOQ). This was one of the most significant things that the city did to help people through the pandemic.

She was tasked at representing her city at the first meeting. The mayors opinion of the long term effects on the economy effected her ability to represent the city appropriately. They ended up being the last organization in the valley to declare an emergency. It was a challenge for her to implement plans when the mayor was against those plans.

When they put together a task force of city employees to assist with educating business on their requirements.
