In the Christmas Day Truce, they were fighting days before, but the next day they made a truce on Christmas Day, which made them all start having fun and playing games with one another, like soccer, baseball, and other yard-type games. The next day, the truce was over and they all went right back to fighting, and most of them did not want to because they realized that the people they were fighting were also just people, but their leaders told them to, so they listened.
