When I was a student I learnt  English Literature by heart. But it was boring and it wasn’t good enough. As a teacher now I can’t stand my students repeating the lessons by heart. For this reason  I will challenge them, so that they could understand the reasoning of everything instead to “repeating as parrots”.

Actually I use cooperative learning (CL). After dividing my class into groups, I give them a project to develop together. Now I realize that PBL is different from cooperative learning. They both are active learning methodologies based on collaboration but PBL isn’t only collaboration it is more, it is also critical thinking that means problem solving.
