I'm so grateful for that obnoxious stork announcement sign in our front yard that kicked off an amazing friendship not only between us but our husbands and kids. You are truly the Type A personality this wild Type B family desperately needed. Without you, there would be no vacations, no perfectly coordinated family photos, and certainly no events starting on time with all the fine details planned. You bring order to our chaos in the best way possible.

When I think of you, the first things that come to mind is your smile, contagious laugh, and, of course, them long leeeeeeegs! But on a deeper level, it’s the way you make everyone around you feel truly seen, loved, and valued. You have this incredible ability to connect with people, remembering every name (which is impressive, considering the Whites have way too many friends!).

I’ve always looked up to you like a big sister. Whether it was passing down your hand-me-down clothes or giving me heartfelt advice when I got married and bought my first house, you’ve always gone out of your way to show how much you care. You’ve been one of my biggest cheerleaders, and that means the world to me.
