Seminars are an opportunity to explore and examine ideas you were introduced to in lectures and reading, to work supportively with each other and to develop your communication skills.

Prepare a short presentation that addresses the seminar question.

You won't have to do this each week, but each member of the group will do this once during the course of the module - usually in a team. Use the 'Help & advice on academic skills' folder on your course area for tips. Ask your seminar tutor if you need advice on how to do this. Hint - preparing and reading through the presentation at least once before you give it can help.

Make sure you note page numbers when taking notes from texts, you will need these for referencing. Key readings make a great start point to build on as you research portfolio tasks.
