Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland died Thursday morning at age 24, the team said in a statement.

Police are investigating the incident as apparent death by suicide.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) says that at 10:33 p.m. local time Wednesday, troopers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation, but the driver refused to halt and a pursuit began.

The pursuit was quickly terminated after troopers lost sight of the vehicle, Texas DPS said.

The initial plan called for a 10% reduction starting Friday, but officials chose to increase the reductions for safety gradually, Duffy said. American Airlines said Thursday it will cancel about 220 of its roughly 6,000 departures starting Friday and lasting through this weekend.

United Airlines said in a statement it plans to cancel fewer than 200 of its more than 5,000 flights each day through the weekend. The airline has listed the flight cancellations along with other information for travelers.

As you may know the government has been shut down for over 30 days now do to a disagreement in the house.The House is expected to hold first votes shortly after 5 p.m. ET on Senate-passed legislation to reopen the government with a final vote after 7 p.m. Hopefully the government will be open again so are military can get payed and are other government payed jobs.
