 The novel, Number The Stars, by Lois Lowry is a historical fiction novel based on the true events of the Holocaust that occured all across Germany. Annemarie and her best friend, who is Jewish, Ellen, live in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Nazi's are taking over, and trying to take all of the Jewish with them. Annemarie and her family will have to sacrifice to save Ellen and her family, before the Nazi's try to take them away. If you enjoy reading historical fiction, or stories that aren't true, but are based on true events in history this is a great book for you. It is full of plot twists that leave people astonished. 
Lois Lowry is an author who has received countless awards such as the Newberry Award for Number The Stars. Lowry has also written the novels, Giver,

NYPD Red 4 is about a detective Zach Jordan, and his partner and ex, Kylie MacDonald cracking cases about murders, heists, and run-away husbands. Cases only NYPD Red can solve. If your someone who likes a mystery drama, you´ll extremely like this book. I havent even read NYPD Red 1,2,3, and even now 5 and im still enjoying this book, and plan to pick up the other 4 sometime soon.
James Patterson is the highest paid author, and if you read this book, you´ll know why. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's (Philosopher) Stone is about a boy named Harry Potter that learns on his 11th birthday that he is a wizard. He gets an invitation to go to one of the best wizard schools around called Hogwarts. It is very challenging moving into a new school without even knowing wizardry for Harry. Harry does not have any ordinary birth either. His parents died when he was very young by the most evil wizard Lord Voldemort . Harry never got to know his parents. Everyone in the whole wizardry world know him now as the boy who lived. Harry now has to face his dark enemy Lord Voldemort that killed his parents in the wizardry world.

This book is about a kid named Peter being stuck in the middle of a war. His best friend Kim is with him the whole way. For Peter, the war is a long way away, being fought by his father and thousands of other British soldiers. All the British soldiers are facing the threat of Nazism. But the problem comes really close to home, when a German plane Crashes in the woods near Peter and Kim. Peter and Kim run to the crash to see if there is anything good. Diary of a Wimpy Kid has a series of 20 books. These books are about the main character (Greg 13yrs) and how his life is. Greg usually has a rough life with his brother Rodrick who is in high school and Rodrick is always pranking Greg or making fun of him. Greg has hard obstacles to pass in front of him. If you like  books with comedy and excitement then this book or series is for you.
