         <description><![CDATA[<p>Page 109-134</p><ul><li><p>Some clerk wanted to send her to an orphanage.</p><p>Chapter 16</p><p>      -September 24th, 1793</p></li><li><p>Matilda is riding home in a wagon of 5, Mrs. Bowles, 2 boys, Susannah, her, her grandfather, and the driver.</p></li><li><p>Matilda and her Grandfather might have to stay at the Luddington's farm because there is barely any food at their home town.</p></li><li><p> They are passing a dying town</p></li><li><p>Her Grandfather told her not to look at something, she did, there was bed linen and then an arm and leg, there was a man.</p></li><li><p>The man had the fever and was tossed out by his family so the fever doesn't spread.</p></li><li><p>They fled the 8th and it is now the 24th, it has been 16 days.</p></li><li><p>It came to Mrs. Bowles and the childrens stop, they are separating.</p></li><li><p>Mrs. Bowles said to Matilda, "Take care. Whatever you do, take care."</p><p>Chapter 17</p><p>       -September 24, 1793</p></li><li><p>They are home (back at the coffeehouse)</p></li><li><p>The coffee house was a mess, everything was out of place.</p></li><li><p>Someone broke in.</p></li><li><p>Mother and Eliza aren't home.</p><p>Chapter 18</p><p>       -September 25th, 1793</p></li><li><p>Matilda is going to take a bath</p></li><li><p>They barely have any food but they are managing, because of the garden.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Pages 187-199</p><ul><li><p>Daisies were falling from the sky, when they looked up they saw one house with their shutters open throwing daisies outside.</p></li><li><p>It was Mr.Peale the painters house.</p></li><li><p>Matilda is going with Eliza to help the sick.</p><p>Chapter 24</p><p>        -October 1st, 1793</p></li><li><p> They helped many many families, Mr. and Mrs. Sharp and their children, The Collbran house.</p></li><li><p>They are helping seamstresses now.</p></li><li><p>When they got home Joseph was crying.</p></li><li><p>The boys and Nell have the fever.</p></li><li><p>Matilda suggest to bring them to Bush Hill where it is colder.</p></li><li><p>Eliza says no, and Matilda comes up with the idea to bring them to the coffeehouse.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Chapter 25</p><p>       -October 14th 1793</p><ul><li><p>A cart came, Eliza, Matilda, the boys, and Nell are going to the coffeehouse.</p></li><li><p>They made it to the coffeehouse, Matilda's toe hit something.</p></li><li><p>It was the painting Nathaniel gave her when her mother was sick.</p></li><li><p>Matilda is exhausted after caring for the children for so long.</p><p>Chapter 26</p><p>       -October 23rd, 1793</p></li><li><p>Something rough lapped at Matilda's cheek it was Silas the cat.</p></li><li><p>When Matilda wakes, there is frost everywhere!</p></li><li><p>They bring the mattress outside with the children. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>        One lesson that I have learned from the book, "Yellow Fever" is, independence is a skill that everyone has. I have applied this theme into my life by trying one extra time or trying to figure out something on my own before I ask for help, in addition, I take care of my little brother while my parents are busy or gone.</p>]]></description>
