Adapts to the water changing temps as they go down further into the ocean. can blend in with the surface of the water.
Green Dragon: Can blend in with the green trees. Sleeps during the day and is on the hunt at night.
Purple Dragon: With it's dark purple colors it can blend in with the darkness of the cave.
Red Dragon: Can't really blend in with the lava but can stand in the lava without burning or getting injured. If it happens to get injured somewhere by the lava and can find a way to the lava it will heal the dragon.

Near the bottom of the ocean is normally were it gets it's food it has lot's of places to nock the prey into the rocks to injure them and make them to weak to escape. These mutations help it live a long life and produce offspring to pass it on.
Green Dragon: With its green color it makes it hard to spot in the day time. Since it cane shoot crystals out of its spine it doesn't have to chase the prey as much. when a predator gets close to the dragon, it can spit out poisonous gases to help defend its self. The Mutations help live a long live to produce offspring and pass on the mutation.
Purple Dragon: Its dark colors help the dragon blend in with the dark caves making it harder to spot. The dragon it really fast so the predators can catch it. With the crystal shooting out of its tale tricking it into mind games it easy to catch prey. These two mutations adding up making really hard to kill and easy to catch prey make it easy to live a long live and produce offspring with those mutation.
