Joanne Rowling is a British writer who became very famous and popular after the publication of the book “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” in 1997. The story tells us about a boy who is the most famous child in the magical world. He knew it on the day of his eleventh birthday. The series of books ended with the publication of the seventh book «Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows» in 2007. 10 years have already passed but the books are still very popular. Joan Rowling has achieved success because her books are interesting for people of all ages. Children read her books as a fairy tale, teenagers learn how to be a good friend and adults can spend hours analyzing the actions of the characters.

My favourite writer is Agatha Christie. She was born in 1890 on August 15 in Britain,And died at the age of 85 in 1976. As a child, Agatha got a good education. She started her career as a writer at the age of 18, then she wrote short stories. If you ask why my favourite writer is Agatha.then I will answer this. Because, a lot of stories she writes about is detective. In addition to detectives, she wrote novels, one of them is "mysterious journey in Styles" in 1920. Agatha's books were sold in more than 4 billion copies and were translated into 100 languages. I believe that even if Agatha died a long time ago, but her books and creativity will in the memory of the people forever because each of her story has her own place to be.

One of my favourite leisure activity is reading. I have read many books and I have many favourite writers. In this essay, I would like to write about John Ronald Reuel Tolkien.

My favorite writer is the author of the famous Harry Potter book series - JK Rowling.

Joan Rowling is a British novelist, screenwriter and film producer, best known as the author of the Harry Potter series of novels. The Harry Potter is my most favorite book. They became the best-selling book series in history and the basis for a film series that became the third highest-grossing film series in history. JK Rowling herself approved the film scripts, and also became one of the producers of the last two parts.

While traveling by train from Manchester to London in 1990, she came up with the idea for a Harry Potter novel. Over the next seven years, Rowling's mother died, she divorced her first husband and lived in poverty until she published the first novel in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (1997). After this, Rowling parted ways with her agency and began writing for adult readers, releasing the tragicomedy The Casual Vacancy and crime novels: The Cuckoo's Calling, The Silkworm, In the Service of Evil, Deadly White.

In five years, Rowling went from living on welfare to becoming a multimillionaire. She is the UK's best-selling author with sales volume
