Speech in person is more powerful than speech over text because you can add emotion to it. Sure you can use emojis- but this is political speech and that is not professional. Because when you read its monotone unless you add certain things like quotes and question marks. You can also win a crowd over easier because well, you can add emotion and get the crown rialed up.

political speech is more powerful online because it can be directed to many people at once in many different ways, you could make a speech but all of your supporters wont show up, or you can release 10 different types of ads directed at all sorts of different audiences, on all different types of websites and networks, its also feels a lot more personal the viewer if you sit in front of a camera and talk versus a speech; which is weird considering how similar they are.

I would think it would make it more difficult because it could divide us because of our opinions. Such as politics or difficult subjects like abortion. Everyone is different and has their own opinion but those opinions divide us and make it difficult for our society to function because some of us can't get along. Freedom of speech is great and we should have it but i'm just saying that it was limited on some topics it would be less difficult because we aren't divided because of our opinions-because we cant have them.

Speech on social media has a much better potential to harm others especially if it is someone with big influence as it is online and as soon as many people start seeing it, it spreads everywhere and everyone sees the bad (or good) thing you said about the person. In person speech is more politically powerful than social media speech. This is because in In Person speech, you are giving your opinion "actually" in front of people. And everyone can see your face, so whatever that you say could be held against you. But in Social Media, that is usually not the case. speech in person is way more powerful than on social media because most of the time you can post anonymously on social media but in real life they will know who said it. yes saying stuff on social media can be anonymous but there are still ways to find out who said it. when you tell someone something in real life it is harder for it to be tracked but when you day something on social media it will be tracked. when you tell someone something in real life they can tell other people what you said.
