I realised that I had not been able to completely how guided mastery could lead to self-efficacy.
On watching the video again I realised that what Bandura found through his study was that once people had mastered their fear of snakes, their attitude about a lot of other things in their lives changed as well; their anxiety decreased, they were more resilient, more persevering, more confident. Bandura called this 'self-efficacy'.
Taking this forward, how I now understand what David Kelley is saying is that we could transfer this same exercise to help people master their fear of creativity. Once they've mastered that, they will also show an increase in self confidence, they will achieve self-efficacy.(referring to the aspects like reduced anxiety, more perseverance mentioned earlier)
Does this make it a bit more clear?

"success" also brings to mind "failure';
honest, straightforward, even if they are being mean, people who have a love for learning, enthusiasm for knowledge, not in the institutionalized sense, learning about people in an otganization and outside of it, the idea of diversity, all kinds of people, adding to your self, success is also to do away with your own blockages and stereotypes, broadening your horizons, giving up your rigidity and being attached to your ideologies and your beliefs, reflects in the way you work, kindness, collaboration and working together, links to not being so rigid, able to work with people, sense of right and wrong, strong sense of ethics, want to empathize with others but it is also important to value the voices of those who are discriminated against, difficult to let go of one's ideology or sense of right and wrong; engaging with those whose views are blatantly discriminatory, ability to communicate with and influence those opinions; Passion, finding something you're really passionate about, radiates out, inner world but also outer world becomes much better; confident people seem to be able to operate in the world much better; everyone needs to come to terms with their own identity and their own history, there is an evolving generation in India, references are very different, there is an identity conflict, tussle for disadvantaged and also privileged middle class, important for people to narrativize their own stories and come to terms with them; what is empowerment? what is finding a voice? Growth Mindset really eye-opening for students, have been competing all their lives, parameters used to judge oneself very disempowering
