They are also more effective and easy to follow by students as they are suitable for their level.

Authentic listening materials on the other hand prepare students for real life language. 

Speaking activities can be used as listening activities by making them a classroom activity or pair work or Additional activities could be added; Some that refer to strong learners and some for weak learners. Some examples for difficulties in speaking activities with students are ;
-they get shy to talk
-they are afraid of making mistakes
-they lack the interest or eagerness to speak in the foreign-language. 

Learning new ideas about differentiating  activities suprised me. One I was happy to learn today was writing some prompts on the board to help students speak but also to give strong and weak students a choice of either using the help of the key words or not. And to be able to do this differentiation with their coursebooks(open/close their books) was a tip I found very useful.

They are self motivating  because each student has different time needs to study. Si the more time they have at home to prepare for the lesson the mire comfortable they will feel in class. 
They are benefficial because they have more active learning time in class with teacher's hot feedback. 

I'm concerned  that if there are more than a few students that don't prepare for  the lesson that they could be a problem during the task. 

I think they will have the same benefits and problems as me.

Because most teachers are used to this method and are unfamiliar with implicit presentations.

Expicit teaching is where teachers give the structure and  implicit teaching is where the teacher presents a text and students elicit the form. 
When teaching grammer, which is more  challenging for students, following the presentation with controlled activities is very important. The  teacher is better off to move from controlled, guided then free activities. This will help learners build the new language better.

Grammer might seem like more of a writting lesson but it could actually have good speaking activities for students to practise such as ranking, role-play, discussion, presentation, guessing game, project work, drama, jigsaw and information gap. ]]> 2021-12-15 09:19:43 UTC https://padlet.com/emineozunlu1980/9qqjh5bk74bhf68u/wish/1948964746 emineozunlu1980 https://padlet.com/emineozunlu1980/9qqjh5bk74bhf68u/wish/1951483036 Going through the activities for remembering vocabulary I realised there were much more activities I needed to use and be aware of. I found it useful to once again remember how important cognative engagement was, that at least 7 repetitions of a word was necessary for long term memory and that many techniques I done in class had different ways to help remember. 

I would realy like to try the "apple" game because it allows a larger range of vocabulary use , memory and excitement. 
The bottle game  and bingo are also ones I'd like to try. 

Gamestolearnenglish.com and learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/tongue-twister are two websites I found useful and interesting.

He/she will help teachers contribute teaching problems and share solutions and give a reason to speak in English. 

After what I've been told I feel more relieved that they won't be so serious, dictative and strict meetings but more like a speaking, sharing and activity club. 🤗

We have built a whats-app group with colleagues from my city, one with the whole group of PLC on telegram and an official grup of my PLC training class here in Erzurum on whats up. 

We will keep in touch with a social network we have already in use and maybe plan our meetings together. If not we will still plan a get together to share experiences or plan meetings. We are already looking forward to working together.

I feel I have no questions left but I do think that a guide for our meetings will help alot, especially for the meetings to be as effective and benefficial as possibile.
