Before a consumer makes a purchase they look up and research about what they’re purchasing. They do research on what they’re purchasing because they don’t want to waste their money a consumer looks at how old the object is, how does it work, is it reliable, and how will it benefit them. Advertising can also affect their decisions. What ever the consumer buys they’ll also look into how much it’s being advertised and if the video is good and if it’ll attract people. If the consumer likes it and everything checks and is good then they’ll most likely purchase it. If there’s something they dislike they might look into something else to purchase.

One of my friends made a good consumer decision when buying a basketball hoop to practice outside their house. It impacted them positively because they play on it a lot and train to get better at basketball. He saw advertisements about basketball hoops so the one he bought he looked into he checked the reviews and too see if the product was a good item to buy.
