         <description><![CDATA[<div>Eric LeGrand played defensive tackle for the Rutgers college football team.<br><br>During his junior year at Rutgers in October 2010, LeGrand tackled his opponent, but upon impact, broke his neck.<br><br>He immediately lost movement and sensation from his neck down.<br><br>October 15th marked the eighth anniversary of this tragic accident.<br><br>-ES</div>]]></description>
