2) I think this poem is about the perspective of an African American living in the United States and feeling like he does not have the same rights as other people. 
3) My favorite line is "Tomorrow, I'll be at the table when company comes" because it shows how determined the author is in standing up for what is right.
4) The tone of this poem is one of determination and persistence. I can tell that the poet is fighting through a struggle of his life in America.
5) I think the theme is overcoming hardship.

I know that because in the poem it says," He hasn't a notion of how children ought to play, and can only make a fool of me in every sort of way." I think the theme of the poem is that a shadow is not another kid and that the shadow is copying the kid. 2) My poem is about the boy describing the shadow of him. It does the same action the boy does and creates a motion picture of it. The shadow looks very similar to the boy and it jumps before him and sometimes he doesn't appear at all.
3) My favorite line from the poem is when the boy says "My shadow makes him a fool in any way," because I think it is a funny line to describe the shadow.
4) I think the tone of the poem is curious because in the text it states that sometimes it gets so little that there is none of him at all.
5) I think that the theme is that we should not get annoyed when you can't get rid of that thing.
