Reason for the War: The war started after the Trojan prince Paris abducted Queen Helen of Sparta.
Major Parties Involved: The early Greeks and the people of Troy, also known as Trojans.
The Trojan Horse Explained: After 10 years of war the Greeks left a large wooden horse outside the city as a gift. Eventually the Trojans took it inside the city, then when night fell Greek warriors climbed out of the horse and took the city from within.
Outcome of the War: Greek Victory, Trojan Defeat.
