         <title>TA Change </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Historically, teaching assistants have been "helping" in schools for many years.&nbsp; Over recent years the role and expectations of many "teaching assistants" have been continually changing. Teaching assistants are now focussing more and more, particularly since the introduction of PPA time, on delivering the curriculum and thus teaching whole classes. Within my setting the number of TAs has fallen considerably due to funding cuts, therefore leaving the majority of KS2 classes without any additional support. TA deployment is an area that needs to be investigated to ensure that all TAs are used to their full potential.<br>ZD</div>]]></description>
