Hello, my name is Anika Sachsenweger. I am an exchange student from germany and study food science and technology in the University of applied Sciences in Berlin. I live in the capital of Germany, Berlin, and moved there almost three years ago. Actionally I grew up in Bonn, the former capital of Germany and my parents and brother still live there with my lovely cat called Jago. In my freetime I enjoy engaging in sports, reading and spending time with my friends. Additionally, I have a strong passion for travelling and getting to know new people and cultures.

After completing my highschool degree I took a year off to focus on my personal development and broaden my horizon in Australia. I did work and travel over there and enhanced my english skills through interactions with the citizens. Also, I worked part-time as a waitress and also gained experience due to working in a food factory. After that year I went back to Germany and started my study programme in the field of Food Science and Technology in Berlin. Right afterwards I started my first job in the food industry by supporting a sugar company with market analysis. My next Job took place in a Berlin Start-up called "share". The purpose and aim of share is to sell consumer goods with a slightly increased prise (= donations), so the donations of each product can be sent to people in need from poor countrys. It was a great honor for me to support the company as a working student in the Quality Management Team for approximately 1,5 years. During this time I developed relevant working skills and learned the concept and work-ethic of a startup. I espacially gained experience with specification-, reclamation-, analysis- and supplier-management. I also assisted in the Product Development department and supported reporting and marketability. My previous big working experience was with another startup in Berlin, where I supported the Operations- and Distributions-Team with structural organization and assumed responsibility for ensuring consumer satisfaction. Currently I started my semester abroad in Madrid, Spain.

Hey, my name is Pia Lübeck and I am 21 years old. In Germany, where I`m from, I study Nutricion science. I study in Münster, a little city in the western part of Germany. Münster is about one hour away from the city I grew up. Despite from uni I like to do sport, especially running. Furthermore I enjoy meeting friends in the evening and on the weekends. When I don´t have to be at uni I like to travel a lot.

After finishing my Highschool, I immediately stated my studies in Nutricion science at the University of applied science in Münster. During my studies I worked in different jobs in the field of public relations, sustainability and sports to figure out if my expectations of those jobs match the real conditions. One of them was publishing articles about sports and Nutricion for the National Sports Association. I also took part in a project where we analysed how to make the cafeteria at school/uni more sustainable and healthy. Another job I attended was for example an education project in schools. We developed content for teachers so they could, if they took part in the project, teach about a sustainable and healthy nutrition at their school. I liked the idea of helping children with what I learned during my studies. That´s why I work as an author since a few months now to write about healthy/sustainable nutrition in sports as this is my main field of interest. I am happy to be able to share what I know with others. Especially in sports nutrition I have the opportunity to combine my favourite hobby with what I studied.

Hi!! I' m Eirini Dimou and I am 21 years old. Currently I live in Madrid because of my participation to an exchange student program called Erasmus, but I come from a rural area in the north of Greece, which I left some years before to continue my studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. There, I had the chance to be involved in student teams, discover new interests such as the cinematography and meet persons with who shared same worries and opinions about certain issues that concern not only the Agriculture field, but also the student community.

As an agriculturist student I love the nature and the plants, so a lot of my hobbies include this two. I enjoy hiking and when the conditions are advantageous I grab the opportunity for a road trip away from the busy cityscape. Having grown up in a village I know the difficulties that people from such areas face in their everyday life and I have the vision that in the future, through my studies I will be able to help in the resolution of some of their problems, especially when it comes to my field.

In 2019 I entered in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Environment, at the School of Agriculture and I specified in the field of Field Crops and Ecology. This gave me the chance to work as a volunteer at a center of animal protection in the north Greece. There I realized the importance of the environment, the sensitive balances between the species and the responsibility we have as human beings to do whatever it takes so as to protect them.

Apart from this, since young I ' ve been participating seasonally at the agricultural activities helping my family and others during these demanding periods. This year I also worked in the 88th International Fair of Thessaloniki, which is one of the most significant institutions in the field of exhibitions and events in Southeastern Europe. It is the multifaceted exhibition event that is closely linked to the history of Greece's economic and cultural development.

Except for these jobs, that are more relevant to my field of studies, I have worked at the sector of catering for some months. Furthermore, I have volunteered at the organization of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, the Open House (at Thessaloniki) and two more local festivals against the social inequalities. I feel really grateful for contributing to the planning and offering my work to these organizations and I hope that in the future I will be given the opportunity to participate in more like these ones.

Hey, I'm Ioanna Konstantinidou and I'm 21 years old. I am an exchange student from Greece. I study Agriculture in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki,where it is my hometown too.I am a member of a family of four and I am the youngest part of it. I now co-living with my brother in the center of Thessaloniki near to the campus of my home university. I have plenty of hobbies that associate with the degree that I study. For example, I really like hiking with friends and travelling all over the places. I also have a dog that I really like to spend time with him. Before I come hear, I was working in a playground and I enjoyed much, because I had the opportunity to be around kids that I love. It was very fun to me to play games with them and I was feeling full when they were happy. Now, I am living the experience of the exchange program hear in Universidad Polytecnica de Madrid and I am really excited about it.

So far, I had the opportunity to work in an environmental office for 6 months. I learned a lot about irrigation system of my city and about a specific dam that it is located couple of kilometers outside of the city. My little experience in this office made me realise that environmental law and the procedure that follows after physical or human disasters are some of the topics that I could be involved in. However, this is not the only field that I feel I could fit in. I found very interresting the field of mechanics too. For example, at the first years of my studies I had participated in the most popular agriculture exhibition of Greece (Agrotica). In this exhibition, I was responsible to present to the public on of the machines of the exhibition( olive harvester). It was a great experience for me, because I had the chance to understand more things about engines. As a conclusion, I would say that I am interrested in many fields that are associated with agriculture.

I am 22 years old and i come from greece. I live in a city called agia barbara that is about twenty kilometers from the capital with my parents and my brother.

I study agrucalture in the University Of Patra although at this moment i live temporerily in madrid because i am part of an erasmus exchenge program. As a person i am really friendly and active,i love to travel and gain new experiences that will help me evolve as an individual and academicly. In my free time i like to dance.More specific i am really font of ballet because it is really grecefull and relaxing . after my senior high school graduation i entered in the University Patra in the field of agriculture .The winter months i am studing in my university and during the summer months i am an active member of our family business. My parents opened a resturant in the heart of Athens where i work as a personnel director from june to october .This possition helped me to develope leedership prowess and enhance my cominucation and my strong problem-solving skills.
