The first step of your creative process is to plan and practice. Now that you have gained information and understanding about the similarities and differences between animal and plant cells, it's time for you to start planning how you will express what you have learned.

Become an observant detective. Take some time to explore your indoor and outdoor surroundings. Search for items and tools that you can use to create your diagram. 1. Decide if your diagram will be an animal cell or plant cell.
2. Use drawing and coloring tools you have at home to sketch a rough draft of what your 3D cell diagram will look like.
3. Identify and label the items and tools that you will use to make your diagram.
4. Label the parts of your cell: animal cell (membrane, cytoplasm, and nucleus) or plant cell (membrane, wall, cytoplasm, nucleus, chloroplasts)
