She is investigating the disappearance as she was fascinated with it and also had an uncle that lived in Limetown that disappeared along with the other citizens in the town. The story follows her going from lead to lead, which brings her to talking with some of the missing people from Limetown.

We learned that he went into hiding after Limetown due to what happened there. He believed his technology was ages ahead of anything on the market. His wife was Deidre Wells.

Dr. Emile Haddock

Dr. Emile Haddock was a citizen of Limetown. Although we don't know much about him we know that he is Lia's uncle, and he is among the many citizens that disappeared. As well as he was another researcher in Limetown.

Limetown

Limetown is the town that had 327 people suddenly disappear in it overnight. It is the place and the events that unfolded inside of it that drive the main protagonist or podcast creator/ main character to investigate Limetown and figure out what happened there. From what we know so far, Limetown is a place where experimental tests happened, and the research was something ominous as seen or felt in the story.

Dr. Oscar Totem

Dr. Oscar Totem was the head researcher in Limetown, although not much is known about him, we do know that his teeth were found in a pile of ash, Police believed he was burned to death.

R.B. Villard

R.B. Villard is the one who funded Limetown, he was the head or owner of the research facility. We hear him in a court case for the disappearance of Limetown, and we also hear the court asking for questions which he completely avoids the questions. He also is extremely wealthy.

Reverend Warren Chambers

Reverend Warren Chambers was one of the citizens in Limetown that disappeared. He was one of the people uncovered by Lia Haddock and she interviewed him investigating Limetown. In his interview he talks about his time in Limetown and what he did there. Reverend Warren Chambers was a farmer in Limetown but after time he learned they were going to experiment on the animals he worked with. They needed a human to be experimented on alongside the animals so he decided to step up as he was the one who took care of them. Both him and a pig named napoleon were both experimented on, in hopes of them being able to telepathically understand reach other. The experiment worked but he grew mentally drained and unstable and murdered Napoleon (the pig) to stop the experiment and gain his sanity back.

Winona

Winona is one of the Many Limetown citizens that disappeared. In Episode 2 we find out that Winona is still alive and meets with Lia to discuss what she knew about Limetown, she gives information about what she did there and what she knew. Winona in this episode clearly displays that she is mentally unstable as she yells at Lia during her interview with her and seems to be constantly scared.

Ron Calhoun

Although we don't know a lot about Ron Calhoun we known that he was an investigator with the FBI. He was one of the investigators that investigated Limetown and it's disappearances.

Terry Wilkins

Although not much is known about Terry Hilkins, we do known that he is a reporter for the Spartan Sentinel, which a news station reporting from the same county as Limetown. We also know that Terry was and is still extremely interested by the Limetown Disappearances.

Napoleon

Napoleon is a pig that was a experimental test subject in Limetown. Both Napoleon and Reverend Warren Chambers both were experimented on so that they could understand each other telepathically. The experimental test was a success and both could understand each other but after awhile it made Reverend Warren Chambers mentally unstable, although he built a good relationship with Napoleon and could understand his feelings, Reverend Warren Chambers deiced to take Napoleons life as he couldn't handle the mental strain anymore.

Spence was a citizen of Limetown who didn't receive the implant. He was one of the people who spread the panic in Limetown after seeing Deidre Wells with the tech.

Lenora Dougal

Lenora Dougal was one of the Limetwon citizen who was interviewed by Lia Haddock. We found out she was a mole in Limetown, feeding info to an outside competitor that wanted the technology being developed in Limetown. She also helped form the plan that would lead to the death of half of Limetown, more specifically the ones without the implant. The other half were taken and used as test subjects. Lenora was the one who was the main contributor to this and this is what caused the disappearance of Limetown.
