I believe that pijitsirniq serving and providing for family and/ community is important we need to show the kids that it’s good to help others and sharing is good for everybody even in a small way. When one person share it makes others want to do it too.

I look foward to teaching Avatittinik kamatsiarniq to young learners because it is important to take care of the land we live around. It is important for them to learn as they are our future, we need to take proper care of our land, keeping clean and not damaging grounds, our land, our home.

Respecting others, relationships and caring for people.

Respecting others is very important in life because our elders would say even if other people isn’t respecting, you always show some respect, i will teach the young ece learner to always show respect to others and be kind to everyone because its very important

Piliriqatiinniq (working together for a common cause)

I am forward to teaching the children Piliriqatiinniq because Team work is important as it will build trust and support, and it is always good to help everyone around us.

Young learners should understand that “coming together is a beginning, staying together is a progress and working together is success “ it is important for children our the future of the next generation and Piliriqatiinniq is one way to keep growing the Inuit traditions, we should always help people around us for a common cause.
