Reflecting on my adjustment and growth process, I feel proud of myself for having managed the first-year issues so well. It was difficult initially to adjust to a new academic system and lifestyle, but I learned to embrace the differences and make the most out of every situation. I believe my ability to evaluate my growth and adapt to new situations has been key to my successful integration. By getting involved in campus life and mixing with students from all backgrounds, I have gained valuable interpersonal skills and confidence.

Looking ahead, I am excited at the prospect of studying at Westminster University next year. I am already impressed by the university's academic excellence and friendly, inclusive environment. I look forward to benefiting from its rich learning experience, which is based on theoretical aspects as well as real-world applications, in fields like accounting and finance. I look forward to being engaged in seminars, workshops, and group projects that will go towards enhancing my skills further and preparing me for an international career.

My first semester went well, and I was able to complete all my exams and assignments as I had planned. Among my courses, financial accounting was one of the most interesting courses. I experienced it as difficult but satisfying, and it made me develop a genuine interest in the course. As I continue my studies, I am determined to approach financial accounting with the same dedication and enthusiasm as I have this year, with the belief that I will be able to handle the course with ease and improve my knowledge in this very important area

Having signed up as a business student, I have undergone a number of group projects, case studies, and presentations. All these sessions have enhanced my ability to present ideas in clear and persuasive terms, as well as the development of public speaking, negotiation, and team skills. All the skills one requires for dynamic business environments.

Besides working together, my research and report writing background has also enhanced my ability to present data-based information in clear and professional presentation form. This has helped me express complex information correctly and concisely and make important points clear to understand.

Along with this, I have also learned how to tailor my style of communication according to the audience. Depending on whether I am presenting financial accounts, marketing reports, or business plans, I tailor my approach to the varying expectations and requirements of different stakeholders and try to communicate efficiently as well as positively.

In addition to academic knowledge, I have developed essential skills that are highly valuable in the business world. Through coursework and group projects, I have enhanced my problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. My ability to communicate effectively—both in writing and speaking—has been refined through presentations, reports, and discussions. Additionally, working on case studies and simulations has improved my decision-making and leadership skills.
