         <description><![CDATA[<p>The&nbsp;Anemona&nbsp;in&nbsp;Matosinhos,&nbsp;also&nbsp;known&nbsp;as&nbsp;"She&nbsp;Moves"&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;striking&nbsp;public&nbsp;art&nbsp;installation&nbsp;created&nbsp;by&nbsp;American&nbsp;artist&nbsp;Janet&nbsp;Echelman&nbsp;in&nbsp;2005.&nbsp;Suspended&nbsp;by&nbsp;metal&nbsp;posts,&nbsp;the&nbsp;giant&nbsp; net&nbsp;sculpture&nbsp;spans&nbsp;42&nbsp;meters&nbsp;in&nbsp;diameter&nbsp;and&nbsp;moves&nbsp;</p><p>gracefully&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;wind,&nbsp;mimicking the&nbsp;motion&nbsp;of&nbsp;sea&nbsp; anemones.</p><p>Originally&nbsp;designed&nbsp;to&nbsp;pay&nbsp;tribute&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;fishing&nbsp;community&nbsp;of&nbsp;Matosinhos,&nbsp;the&nbsp;Anemona&nbsp;has&nbsp;become&nbsp;an&nbsp;iconic&nbsp;symbol&nbsp;of&nbsp; the&nbsp;city.&nbsp;It is&nbsp;located&nbsp;in&nbsp;Praça&nbsp;Cidade&nbsp;S.&nbsp;Salvador,&nbsp;a&nbsp;central&nbsp;</p><p>and&nbsp;picturesque&nbsp;roundabout&nbsp;in&nbsp;Matosinhos.&nbsp;Over&nbsp;the&nbsp;years,&nbsp;</p><p>the&nbsp;sculpture&nbsp;has&nbsp;undergone&nbsp;several&nbsp;restorations&nbsp;</p><p>due&nbsp;to&nbsp;wear&nbsp;and&nbsp;vandalism,&nbsp;but&nbsp;it&nbsp;remains&nbsp;a&nbsp;beloved&nbsp;</p><p>landmark.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The&nbsp;Palacete&nbsp;de&nbsp;Trevões,&nbsp;also&nbsp;known&nbsp;as&nbsp;the&nbsp;Palacete&nbsp;Visconde&nbsp;de&nbsp;Trevões,&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;historical&nbsp;building&nbsp;located&nbsp;in&nbsp;Matosinhos,&nbsp;Portugal.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;built&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;early&nbsp;20th&nbsp;century&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;revivalist&nbsp;and&nbsp;eclectic&nbsp;style.&nbsp;The&nbsp;palace&nbsp;was&nbsp;originally&nbsp;the&nbsp;residence&nbsp;of&nbsp;Emídio&nbsp;Ló&nbsp;Ferreira,&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;Viscount&nbsp;of&nbsp;Trevões,&nbsp;until&nbsp;his&nbsp;</p><p>death&nbsp;in&nbsp;1942.</p><p>After&nbsp;being&nbsp;acquired&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;local&nbsp;government,&nbsp;the&nbsp;building&nbsp;</p><p>served&nbsp;various&nbsp;purposes,&nbsp;including&nbsp;as&nbsp;an&nbsp;industrial&nbsp;and&nbsp;</p><p>commercial&nbsp;school&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;municipal&nbsp;library.&nbsp;Today,&nbsp;it&nbsp;houses&nbsp;</p><p>the&nbsp;Museu&nbsp;da&nbsp;Memória&nbsp;de&nbsp;Matosinhos,&nbsp;which&nbsp;showcases&nbsp;the&nbsp;history&nbsp;and&nbsp;cultural&nbsp;heritage&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;region.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The&nbsp;Visconde&nbsp;de&nbsp;Trevões&nbsp;was&nbsp;Emídio&nbsp;José&nbsp;Ló&nbsp;Ferreira,&nbsp;a&nbsp; notable&nbsp;Portuguese&nbsp;noble man. &nbsp;Born&nbsp;in&nbsp;1864&nbsp;in&nbsp;Trevões,&nbsp;S.&nbsp;João&nbsp;da&nbsp;Pesqueira,&nbsp;he&nbsp;emigrated&nbsp; to&nbsp;Brazil,&nbsp;where&nbsp;he&nbsp;amassed&nbsp;significant&nbsp;wealth</p><p>&nbsp;through&nbsp;his&nbsp;work&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;construction&nbsp;and&nbsp;rubber&nbsp;industries.</p><p>Upon&nbsp;returning&nbsp;to&nbsp;Portugal,&nbsp;he&nbsp;made&nbsp;substantial&nbsp; contributions&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;community,&nbsp;including&nbsp;founding&nbsp;the&nbsp; Cineteatro&nbsp;Constantino&nbsp;Nery&nbsp;in&nbsp;Matosinhos&nbsp;and&nbsp;supporting&nbsp; various&nbsp;local&nbsp;projects.&nbsp;In&nbsp;recognition&nbsp;of&nbsp;his&nbsp;efforts,&nbsp;he&nbsp;</p><p>was&nbsp;granted&nbsp;the&nbsp;title&nbsp;of&nbsp;Visconde&nbsp;de&nbsp;Trevões&nbsp;by&nbsp;King&nbsp;</p><p>D.&nbsp;Manuel&nbsp;II&nbsp;on&nbsp;April&nbsp;29,&nbsp;1909.</p><p>Ló&nbsp;Ferreira&nbsp;was&nbsp;also&nbsp;a&nbsp;Comendador&nbsp;da&nbsp;Ordem&nbsp;de&nbsp;Cristo&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;well- known philanthropist.&nbsp; He&nbsp;passed&nbsp;away &nbsp;in&nbsp;1942, &nbsp;in&nbsp;Vila&nbsp;Real,&nbsp; leaving&nbsp;behind&nbsp;a&nbsp;legacy&nbsp;of&nbsp;community &nbsp;service&nbsp;and&nbsp;cultural&nbsp;contributions.</p>]]></description>
