Before the 1820s only certain people were allowed to vote which was, White males who owned property which was only a small amount of people. Andrew Jackson rise to presidency was important to citizens who couldn't vote. When he became president most white men could vote even if they didn't have land.</p>]]></description>

The conflict led to one of the tragic events in us history and forced the INdian removal act in 1830. The act gave the federal government to trade native lands for the lands west and southwest of the mississippi river.</p>]]></description>

Mexico didnt like it and thretened war if they didn't stop. They went to war I 1846-1848 and ended with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.</p>]]></description>
