The Black Plague or Bubonic Plague is a disease that killed millions of Europeans during the middle ages.It was spread by infected fleas that attach them self on rodents like rats.The deaths caused of this disease exceeded 24 million.Some symptoms of this are fevers, colds, pain in places like abdomen, headaches and swollen lumps.This disease still exists around the world debut only 7 cases a year, usually ranging from 12-45 year olds.

Issac Newton (Jan 4, 1643- Mar 31, 1727)

Issac Newton was a English psychiatrist and mathematician.He was very famous during the Scientific Revolutoin in the 17th century.He is best known for his theory on the laws of gravity.Newton published two book that had information on the laws of gravity and the properties of light.He then server as president of the Royal Society of London and master of Englands Royal mint until he died in 1727.

Queen Elizabeth I’s reign (1558-1603)

Elizabeth was born on September 31st, 1553, and died on March 24th, 1603.She is the only surviving child on Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, they were both executed when she was 2.When she was then 10 she restored her line of succession.Then when she was 69 years old, she died to blood poisoning.

Thomas Hobbes was a seventh century thinker who wrote Leviathan.Hobbes thought that everybody was born selfish and evil.He always thought that without a stable government their would also be constant war.He believed that citizens should hand over their rights to a ruler and would in return gain order and law.A ruler should have absolute power, it should not be divided.

Storming of Bastille (July 14, 1789)

The cause of the storming of the Bastille was because the third estate was being treated unfairly.When the Estates General met, the third estate noticed how unfair the voting system was since the first and second estate had the advantage.The third estate decided too call themself the nation assembly and were soon locked out of their meeting hall so hd to move to a tennis court.A little bit after this rumors were spreading that Royal troops were going to occupy Paris and wanted to go to the Bastille and demand weapons and gunpowder.When they weren't let in they decided to storm it but their was no gunpowder their anyway so it was basically useless.

The Berlin Conference (1884)

The Berlin Conference was a meeting with 13 nations to attend a conference eand decide how they were going to split up africa.Africa was greatly affected by this because European countries were trying to solidify their presence there.This would be called the "Scramble for Africa".A lot of African kings would be forced to give up their power because of this.
