         <description><![CDATA[<div>Within the passage, "The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas," Ursula Leguin implies that in order to acquire happiness, sacrifices must be made. Alluding from the point, LeGuin uses irony, mood, and cause and effect to strengthen her point. LeGuin hopes the audience gain a better understanding of the fact that happiness comes with a price.&nbsp;<br><br>Ostensibly, LeGuin wrote this for everyone to read as a source of entertainment. The moral of the story is that nothing is free, and that people must sacrifice things in order to have a happy life. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In " The case for Torture",&nbsp; Michael Levin argues the morality and reason pertaining to torture, he that its justified in certain cases. To further elaborate upon his points, the author used the following rhetorical stratigies; pathos, logos, and cause/effect. In short, the purpose of this article is to convince the readers that torture can sometimes be necessary, as it could save the lives of millions.&nbsp;<br><br><br>Ultimately, the article is intended for all audiences, however, is more so projected towards adults whom are biased towards torture being unjust and immoral.</div>]]></description>
