I worked with kindergarteners as a teaching assistant and fell in love with everything about it. 
- I have observed in two schools in my time at Simmons, the Rafael Hernández School in Roxbury and the Amos A. Lawrence School in Brookline. 
- I worked at a daycare in Boston as an Assistant Teacher last year with toddlers. 
- Last summer I worked in my hometown school district as an Instructional Assistant for pre schoolers with special needs. In this summer program we helped students build social skills as well as assisted them with academics. 
- This year I work at a daycare for children with special needs in Amherst, NH. With my credits I was able to become an Associate Teacher, which means I get to collaborate with lead teachers on the curriculum.
