He grew up in Virginia when there were 13 colonies. I used a map of the 13 colonies to help me pin point where George Washington grew up. 

I saw a picture in my book with a caption, it told me about after a hunting party when George was riding his horse.

In my book there was a picture of a man I did not know if it was a picture of George or a picture of someone else. In the caption it stated it was a picture of King George the 3rd.

There was another picture of George doing something. I could not tell what he was doing. The caption told me George was taking the presidential oath.

I got a lot of information from the captions and comics there were alot.
