We went on a nature walk in our schoolyard and surrounding area. We took a closer look at how ants work together, spiders patiently weave their webs, and plants conserve water.

We learned that every living thing in nature has its own unique function and that they all work together as "nature's engineers."

Our children had fun observing nature and learned to be more environmentally conscious.

Today, our children received a special letter from the Owl!

In the letter, the Owl encouraged the children to explore nature, protect the environment, and investigate everything they were curious about.

Our students listened to the letter with great enthusiasm, chatted about the Owl's advice, and discussed the importance of protecting nature.

Our activity fostered a sense of curiosity in the children while also fostering a love and sense of responsibility towards nature.

The children were interested in listening to the story about Mikutis, his behavior in nature, the connections between nature and man, the children answered questions, told how they take care of plants at home and in the kindergarten environment. The meeting was very useful. Thanks to the scientist Birute.

It became a reflection of the connection they had with themselves and with the world around them.

Through the gentle and thoughtful words of the Wise Owl,

they began to recognize and express their emotions: joy, disappointment, kindness, cooperation, and patience.

By observing their environment with care and sensitivity, they sincerely promised to treat every living being with greater respect.

By the end of the activity, we had not only observed spiders; we had also felt their world, experienced their movements, and navigated the mysterious universe of their webs. This way, we had fun, learned, and were inspired by nature's small but incredibly powerful creatures.

We are excited to share our progress on the nature creature we have chosen to study: The Bee and its Kingdom!

Our journey began with an educational video about life inside the beehive. The students discovered how a bee colony functions and the specific roles each member plays in their daily tasks.

To bring this knowledge to life, we organized a role-playing game:

·        The Queen Bee waited in the center, overseeing the hive.

·        The Worker Bees stayed busy collecting pollen from plants.

·        The Drones gathered around the Queen to generate heat and assisted in the honey-making process.

It was a fantastic hands-on activity that showed our students the importance of teamwork in the natural world!

In this activity, our students explored the fascinating world of bees. They learned about the different roles within the beehive the worker bee, the queen, and the drone and their vital contribution to nature’s protection and the blooming of flowers.

Inspired by the bees' amazing teamwork, the children decided to build their own beehive using recycled materials.

Understanding nature begins with exploring its history. Through our fossil excavation activity, our students uncovered 'hidden treasures' with the meticulousness of a scientist. Thanks to this hands-on science activity, our children developed their observation and analytical skills while taking their first scientific steps into the evolutionary processes of nature and living things.
