One of my biggest challenges in the Action project is the language. English is not my first language, so sometimes its hard to understand informations or express my ideas clearly. Group discussions or presentations can be difficult for me, and sometimes i feel shy to speak. This can make teamwork harder.

Another challenge is that I have not joined the same projects at all. Many students already know how to work on these kinds of tasks, but im still learning. sometimes i feel bad of what to do or how to start.

in the redesign, the tools that helped me most were the communication skills. we need to talk to each others and draw the graph about the time table. i use easy words, have eye contact with my partner and write her ideas and thoughts in short sentence. the best activity was drawing the graph, we spoke every step aloud and make both of us laugh about our emotion.

We have some interesting initial concepts for our Spin Off Topic. We want to do something different but not completely unrelated to our main topic. This topic gives us the liberty to think laterally and try to innovate. We will begin by doing some background research to have a clearer idea of it. We will then make a preliminary outline of what to search for and how to go about presenting it. We also want to add some entertainment, like photos or small assignments, so that it will be more interesting. Even if there will be some challenges, we believe we can deal with them if we work together. This project is not only about learning new things, but also about developing our teamwork and problem-solving skills. We are interested and willing to start.

We still need to know or find some important things about our Spin Off Topic. We need to have more information about the background so that we could clarify it. We need to find examples or real cases so that our topic could be more interesting and easier to explain. Something else that we need is to check if there are any credible sources, such as books, websites, or videos, that we can follow. We also need to learn the words or jargon that are unfamiliar and relate to the topic so that we can define them correctly. We can ask teachers or experts some questions in case we are unable to find out the answer by ourselves. Finally, we must think about how to make the information that we find so that it will be brief and simple for our audience to realize. This way, our project will be complete and simple to understand.

We can get this information in various ways. One of them, for example, is to look it up on the internet so that we can get some basic facts, pictures, and videos about our topic. This will get us to learn it earlier. Another method is to read a book or an article in the library, as they can give us more reliable and specified information. We can also ask teachers, friends, or family members who may be familiar with it. A second approach is to visit experts by going or mailing an email to them, so we can get expert opinion. If we must find out what people believe, we can come up with a short survey and pass it to classmates or the public. We should choose over one means, because different sources can give us different ideas. With all these tools combined, we can obtain enough information to make our project be understandable, interesting, and complete.

It does not only belong to our topic, but also opens for us to some other things we never thought of before. We may look for interesting facts, unexpected relations, or strange examples that make the topic more intriguing. This topic might also have real-life situations, so we can see how it affects other people or the world around us. It is also fascinating because it makes us think and question further. We might find that a single small detail can lead to a huge revelation. Reading it can astonish and motivate us, as we would like to know more about it and share it with others. This feeling of astonishment and discovery makes the topic truly fascinating to us.

At times, the information on the internet may be inaccurate or confusing, and it can take a long time to verify if the information is accurate. Another concern of mine is that we may lack sufficient time to complete all the research and deliver a good presentation. The other concern is that we may have trouble with coming up with some of the harder words or ideas. If we do not break them down clearly, nobody will understand. These are the things that make me a little nervous, but I believe we can fight them through teamwork.

What persuasive techniques did you find most effective?

The most effective persuasion techniques I came across are the use of powerful examples, questioning, and illustrating clear benefits. Applying concrete examples makes it easy for individuals to comprehend the idea and perceive it as being more credible. Questioning, especially thought-provoking questions, has the ability to draw people's attention and make them more interested in the topic. We also need to show clear benefits, as people want to know what they are going to gain or how it will gain for them. Another good way is using emotional terms, so that people can easily identify with what we are saying. Using these strategies together, we can be more effective and convincing.

Close your eyes. Picture a sea turtle gliding through sapphire water, ancient, unhurried, wise. Now watch a ghosty plastic bag drift past like a jellyfish. Watch instinct win - and doom follow……

This isn’t just a distant tragedy. This is totally our mess, in their mouths.

52 Percent. And that’s more than half. Flip a coin - heads, hey, it’s plastic. That’s simply the brutal math of our age, and the ocean sized alarm bell that will not stop ringing…… We’re drowning the seas of our throwaway culture, and these turtles are sending up flares from beneath the waves. Do you hear them? Will you give an answer?

This is not just a little pollution. This is hunger turned into poison. To a turtle, a bottle cap looks like breakfast, a straw looks like food, a floating film looks like a feast, But it’s total nonsense. A deadly silent……. their bellies fill, their bodies fail, and an animal that has survived the age of dinosaurs is undone by a shopping bag. Outrageous, Unacceptable, Not on our watch.

We like to pretend the ocean is endless, that it swallows our mistakes and hushes our guilt. But the sea keeps the receipts. Every cup, Every wrapper, every glittering fragment of convenience. The tide carries them, collects them, concentrates them. A plastic confetti of carelessness. A slow-motion avalanche smothering the blue heart of our planet.-

The sea does not forget. It carries our sins in its currents, our carelessness in its waves. But it also carries hope. If we choose it. If we earn it. If we stop feeding the silence with plastic and start speaking with action. The turtles are still gliding. Still ancient. Still wise. Let’s not be the reason they vanish.

Good morning everyone. Today we want to talk about a problem. Many people get sunburns, skin damage, or even heatstroke when they stay under the sun. Sunscreen helps, but people forget to put it on again. Hats and umbrellas are not enough. So, we need a new idea.

We bring you the SolarShield Band. Our slogan is: “Wear the sun, block the harm.”

The SolarShield Band is a small bracelet, but it has three smart functions.
First, it has a fold-out fabric that blocks UV rays.
Second, it reminds you to drink water when your body gets too hot.
Third, it has a mini cooling pad that keeps you cool in the heat.

This band is light, safe, and looks like fashion. It is better than carrying bottles of sunscreen or heavy umbrellas.

Maybe you ask, “What if I already use sunscreen?” The answer is: great! The band gives you double protection.
“What if it looks ugly?” Don’t worry, it comes in many colors and looks slim.
“Is it safe?” Yes, it uses soft, skin-friendly material.

The SolarShield Band protects your health, saves your time, and makes you look stylish. Be the first to wear the future of sun safety. Thank you!

Final Reflection – Action Project

During the Action Project course, I gained many new experiences and ideas. I learned how to work with others and also how to manage my own time better. At the start, I did not know much about design thinking or problem solving, but step by step I understood the process. I saw that when we face a problem, it is important to test ideas, listen to feedback, and try again. This made me more confident to share my thoughts, even if they were not perfect. I also became more comfortable when presenting my work and explaining my choices to others.

Through this project I also developed my understanding of the 5Cs. My communication improved because I needed to explain my ideas clearly in group work. My collaboration grew because I had to listen to my team and respect their ideas. My creativity developed when I thought of new solutions and ways to design. I used critical thinking to check if my ideas were realistic and useful. These skills were not only important for the project, but also helped me to feel more confident when working with my classmates.

The skills I learned from Action Project can help me in many areas of my life. For example, teamwork and communication are useful in school subjects, part-time jobs, and future workplaces. Problem solving and design thinking can also guide me when I face challenges later in life. These skills will support me in planning, organising, and reaching my goals.

I faced some challenges in this course. Sometimes our group did not agree, and it was hard to make a decision. I also felt nervous when we had to present our work. At first I was worried that my ideas were not good enough. I decided to focus on my character strength of perseverance, and I kept trying even when it was difficult. I also used curiosity to ask questions and learn from others. After finishing the project, I felt proud that I did not give up, and I realised that challenges can make me stronger.

As a learner, I developed in many ways through this course. I became more organised and better at planning my work. I also learned to take responsibility in a group. I can use these skills in other subjects like science, English, and art. I also learned more about my character strengths, such as teamwork and persistence, and I will keep building on them in the future.

At a personal level, I learned that I can be creative and brave. I discovered that I am able to share my ideas and work with others even if I feel nervous. I understood that I learn best when I try new things and accept feedback.

I gained much new knowledge and new ideas throughout the Action Project course. I learned how to work together with others and also learned how to manage my own time. I was not familiar with design thinking and problem-solving in the early stages, but gradually I understood the process. I realized that when we face a problem, we have to try out ideas, hear comments, and try again. This motivated me more to give out my ideas even if they were imperfect. I also felt more comfortable when presenting my work and explaining my choices to other people.

By doing this project I also enhanced my understanding of the 5Cs. My communication improved as I had to clearly express my ideas in group work. My teamwork improved since I had to listen to my colleagues and respect their ideas. My innovation occurred when I created new solutions and designs. I used critical thinking to ensure my ideas were practical and real. These were helpful skills not only for the project, but also encouraged me to be more confident working with my peers.

The skills and knowledge I acquired from Action Project can be useful to me in almost every part of my life. Consider teamwork and communication. These are useful during school lessons, part-time work, and in potential employers. Design thinking and problem solving will also help me when I am faced with challenges in the future. The skills will enable me to design, organise, and accomplish my objectives.

Some of the challenges I faced during this course are as follows. There were times when our group disagreed, and it was hard to make a decision. I also worried about presenting our projects. At first, I was scared that my ideas would not be good. I opted to work on my character strength of perseverance, and I continued even when it was hard. I also used curiosity to ask questions and find out new things from other individuals. When I finished the project, I was glad that I didn't give up, and I knew that challenges can make me stronger.

As a student, I gained improvement in many areas from this course. I became more efficient and organized when planning out my assignments. I also learned group responsibility. I can utilize these skills in other subjects like science, English, and art. I also gained more knowledge about my character traits, such as persistence and teamwork, and will continue to develop them in the future.

At a personal level, I discovered that I am creative and brave. I discovered that I am able to communicate my ideas and work with others despite feeling anxious. I also learned that I learn most effectively if I try things out and receive constructive feedback.

What did you gain from this experience?

In this action project, I learned how to turn a small idea into reality. At first, I just wanted to help my classmates manage stress. But through research and teamwork, I figured out how to use design thinking to spot real problems and come up with solutions. I also got better at confidently sharing my ideas in front of others. This project showed me that solving problems isn’t just about finding answers—it’s about understanding people’s feelings and needs.

How did the action project boost your understanding of the 5Cs?

My communication skills improved because I had to speak confidently in front of the whole class. I learned how to make my message clear.

My collaboration skills got stronger since I worked with Kelly—we shared ideas, listened to each other, and solved problems together. My creativity grew while designing the "Stress-Free Badge" and "De-Stress Pen," figuring out how to blend emotions with tech. My critical thinking sharpened as I tested the products and improved them based on feedback. Overall, I also learned about citizenship by caring for others’ mental health and building a supportive school community.

How will you use the skills from this project in other areas of life?

The teamwork and presentation skills I learned will help me nail school projects and group work. Design thinking will boost my progress in science and business subjects because it taught me to plan, test, and reflect. In the future, I can use these skills to create projects that help people in real life.

What challenges did you face, and how did you overcome them?

One challenge was time management. At first, our ideas were too big, so we had to simplify. I felt a lot of pressure because I wanted everything to be perfect. But I stayed calm by leaning on my determination and teamwork, taking it step by step. Another challenge was public speaking—I was nervous, but after practicing a lot, I felt more confident. Now, I’m proud I didn’t give up and gave my best on presentation day.

How have you grown as a learner?

I’ve become a more proactive and reflective learner. I learned to use feedback from teachers and classmates to improve my work. I also discovered that I enjoy creative projects that combine tech and wellness. My personality strengths, like curiosity and kindness, kept me motivated and made me think about others’ needs.

On a personal level, what did you take away from this course?

I realized that even small ideas can make a big impact. I found my confident voice and unlocked my creativity. Most importantly, I learned that helping others makes me feel stronger and happier.
