At 6:00, 16 And Pregnant is always on MTV due to not having nudity and really vulgar language, which makes it suitable for young teens to watch it. Since it's "16" it shows how they are showing young people what young pregnancy and parenting is actually like, instead of glamourising it. Whereas, Catfish The TV Show is on at 9:00; this is due to having strong language and the content being serious and mature, which wouldn't be appropriate for younger children. Older teens around 17 upwards would watch this. Ridiculousness is on at 10 because it has vulgar and explicit language with nudity and sexual scenes, natures and references throughout the programme which is suitable for adults.

Faking used to be on MTV at 6:00, however, during season 2 they increased the strong language, sexual scenes and sexual references and nudity which made MTV move it to 9:0 as it's not suitable for younger audiences anymore. It can appeal to both genders as they both can relate to the struggles the characters face in their love life and school life and is never focused in a feminine way.
