The benefits of creating culturally relevant resources for use in ECE centres shows the children that back then, Inuit were very resourceful. They used what they had to make what they could. It is important to keep our culture alive. Using things from our culture shows the children that everything in the environment is useful, everything has a purpose, even if it’s for one tiny reason. Another benefit children get from using culturally relevant resources is to gain knowledge and experience.

-Lisa
