Built in the 15th century, the majestic Machu Picchu holds a dense history, being the center of the Incan Empire. I have always wanted to visit in order to experience the views from the very top. This structure holds a rich history, including the Battle of the Alamo. Being in my home state, I learned all about Texas in 7th grade, and the Alamo played a vital part in Texan history. The tour introduced us to many different parts of the building, including spots that many famous soldiers had fallen. My favorite part of the tour was going into the armory room and seeing all of the different weapons that they used in the Battle of the Alamo.
