Teske/The Dating Game

Students had trouble thinking beyond the text. Three students are characters from a book and Dater asks questions to try and figure out which character the students are playing. The questions have to be beyond the text questions about feelings/actions/reactions/etc.

Teske/Math Golf Review

Teachers place questions from the unit on 18 pieces of paper (the holes) and they are labeled with par numbers (the higher the par the more difficult/involved the question) Students go around with their "golf card" or answer sheet and they score themselves at the end.
